Two month update!

I supposed I should update this thing from time to time. But time gets away from you when you have a baby!

Carter had his two month appointment on Tuesday. Everything is looking good. He's happy and healthy. He did get his two month shots. He hated it! But he was pretty calm, and not very fussy that evening. So I guess the Tylenol really helps with the pain. Carter is a growing boy! He weighed in at 11lbs 3oz and measured 22 inches long. That's my chunky monkey!

Carter has begun to smile, a lot. And the giggling is coming in behind it. Can I just say he is absolutely adorable when he smiles. I could look at him do it all day. Well, couldn't you?

Has it really been one month?!?

I can't believe it's been a month since Carter was born. I am not looking forward to going back to work in a couple of weeks. Yikes!

He had his one month check up today. And I'm pleased to say that he has gained weight and grown longer. The weight thing was a big concern of mine. His birth weight was 7lbs 11oz, but he came home weighing 6lbs 13oz. At the weight check two days later, he was up to 7lbs. But still, with breastfeeding, you are never sure if baby is getting enough. Well, he is! He weighed 9lbs 4oz and measured in at 21 inches long (in the 40%). He's a growing!! Everything else looks great and the pedi pronounced him as being perfect. And of course he is!
